Terms, Returns and Refunds
How ordering works, and where you stand if something is wrong.
Ordering
Some items on this site can be bought outright; others are priced on enquiry, because a banner or an embroidery job depends on artwork, size and material. Either way you will know the price before anything is printed.
All orders are collected from the shop at 72 Roundwell Street, Tunstall, Stoke-on-Trent, UK. We will let you know as soon as your job is ready.
Artwork and proofs
Anything you send us stays yours. By sending it you confirm you have the right to have it printed — we cannot reproduce someone else’s logo, photograph or design without their permission, and we will say so if we think that is what we are being asked to do.
Where the website shows you a proof, that proof is what we print. Please check spelling, phone numbers and colours before you approve it: once it has gone on the press we cannot take it back. You can always ask for a proof by email first instead.
Screens and ink are not the same thing. Colour on your monitor is a close guide, not an exact match, and a small variation between runs is normal.
Personalised and printed-to-order items
Anything made to your design or personalised for you — stickers, printed garments, business cards, banners, mugs — cannot be returned simply because you have changed your mind. That is the usual position under the Consumer Contracts Regulations for bespoke goods, and it is why we are careful about proofs.
If something is wrong
If your order is faulty, damaged, or not what you approved, tell us within 14 days of collecting it. Ring the shop or email theprintshop@live.co.uk with your order number and a photograph if you can. We will reprint it or refund it — your choice — and we will not charge you again for our own mistake.
Refunds go back to the card or account you paid from, normally within five working days of us agreeing one.
Stock items that have not been printed or personalised can be returned unused within 14 days for a refund.
None of this affects your statutory rights.
Uncollected work
We will hold a finished order for you and chase you about it. If it is still here after three months and we have not heard back, we may dispose of it — personalised work has no value to anybody else.
Prices
Prices on this site are in pounds sterling and are the prices we hold at the time you order. We do our best to keep them right; if something is obviously mispriced we will tell you before taking any money rather than quietly filling the order.
